Yes, in most cases. Most clinics use single wavelength lasers, which target the dark pigment in hair, so lighter hair doesn't absorb enough energy to be treated properly. Our laser combines four wavelengths, including 755nm, which is specifically suited to lighter and finer hair. This means we can treat blonde and red hair that other lasers often can't.
Usually 6 sessions for a significant reduction, spaced 2 to 8 weeks apart depending on the area. Facial and hormonal hair generally needs more, plus occasional top-ups. We'll give you a realistic number at your consultation.
For as long as you keep up with your top-ups, yes, you'll stay hair-free. Without maintenance top-ups, some hair may gradually come back.
Not a problem. Our 4-wavelength technology is built for exactly that: the longer wavelengths are made for darker and tanned skin, and we'll fine-tune your settings at the patch test. No sunbeds or fake tan for two weeks before a session, and SPF on treated areas afterwards.
Very often, yes. Coarse, dark, hormonal hair tends to respond well because there's plenty of pigment. It's also the type most likely to need ongoing top-ups, because the hormones driving it don't stop. We'll be upfront about that rather than sell you a course and go quiet.
That's exactly what the patch test is for. Almost everyone is fine, and we'll be upfront with you if you're not.
